Book Review: The girl with the louding voice
Its been a while since i read this one but the message is still loud and clear in my mind- Fight till you can, and more when you can't and believe in your dreams- believe that your voice matters, you matter! ** SPOILERS*** This book is about a little girl, Adunni,who gets married at a tender age, soon after her mother's death, leaving behind her little brother, whom she adores so much and who is like a little kid to her, raised by her. Her marriage to a guy , who already has 2 wives, is aimed at producing a boy- ironically when she herself is a little girl! She befriends one of the wives ( pregnant at the time) and soon accompanies her on a hushed journey to meet the real father of baby, through an illicit affair, majorly done in hope of producing a boy for her husband. Somehow, the lady dies and this girl has to flee, considering the news of the other wive's death travels fast.
